Festival "Shot Youth"

February 12, 2007 in Zhitomir, in the hall Philharmonic, a gala winners VIII Polisky regional literary and music festival honoring the soldiers-internationalists "Shot Youth".
The festival was founded by writer, member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Zhytomyr professional lyceum director of Food Technology, Security Service colonel in the reserve Anatoly Nikolayevich Shmalyukom to the revival of national identity and civic and patriotic education of youth in the best samples of poetry and song creation associated with the "Afghan "themes and creating the conditions for creativity especially young people.

Writers and directors-directors of the festival here is the sixth year is the duet "Red and Black" in the laureate of international competitions and festivals Valentina and Yaroslav Teplyh.Vony and have been leading this action.

This year the qualifying rounds of the festival attracted over 60 teams and individual participants from all over the Zhytomyr region, as the authors of works and performers in vocal and choral genre, the genre of declamation.
